As a member of the Kooyonga Foundation you can feel proud to be an ongoing advocate for funding special projects, supporting our pennant teams and developing initiatives to develop our junior and high performance golfers.
While the Kooyonga Foundation continues to support a number of club projects, we are keen to support the promotion of junior and high performance golf. The success of both men’s, women’s and junior pennant teams is a core aim of the Foundation, vital to the future survival of our club.
Kooyonga Golf Club celebrated its centenary in 2023 and have a membership who are extremely proud of the Club’s heritage. We have a wonderful opportunity to showcase our rich history throughout the newly renovated clubhouse, with the Foundation Committee dedicated to recognising and celebrating talented and committed members that have helped set strong foundations for this great club, both on and off the golf course.
The aim of the fund, created by The Kooyonga Foundation, is to accumulate sufficient funds to assist Kooyonga Golf Club with longer term projects in line with the objectives of the Foundation.

In 2023, the Kooyonga Foundation proudly supported the construction of a new amenities building on the golf course, located near the 5th tee. The new facility benefits all members and guests, offering toilets, a shelter from extreme weather conditions, refrigerated water station as well as other member amenities.
With the practice facilities forming a key part of the golfing experience at Kooyonga and in line with our key strategic goal to be recognised as one of Australia’s premier golf clubs, the Kooyonga Foundation supported a redevelopment of the practice facilities to significantly broaden the variety and accessibility of our practice offerings, which will lead to a distinct competitive advantage and help maintain our pipeline of future members.
A major project of the Kooyonga Foundation was to financially support the construction of a Golf Academy with contributions totaling $515k. Established in 2016, The Kooyonga Foundation Golf Academy is a first of its kind in South Australia.
