KOOYONGA GOLF CLUB – ONLINE BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
THE KOOYONGA GOLF CLUB DOES NOT REFUND ONLINE PAYMENTS UNLESS THE COURSE IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED OR FUNCTION IS CANCELLED (WHICHEVER APPLICABLE).
BOOKING CONFIRMATION DETAILS
- Successful online bookings will receive an automatic confirmation via email.
- No further confirmation is required.
- The internet booking system is directly linked to the reservation software, and the customer will only be contacted if a Kooyonga Golf Club staff member has a query regarding your booking. If a confirmation email is not received, the customer must check that the email entered is correct. Queries, questions or problems with the Kooyonga Golf Club Booking System please telephone (08) 8352 5444. The customer is required as proof of booking to provide the reference number or the credit card used to secure the booking at the time of registration to the reservations staff.
- The Kooyonga Golf Club reserves the right to alter tee times and/or function bookings without notice due to circumstances outside of the Kooyonga Golf Club’s control. (e.g. lightning, course renovations, pandemics, etc).
- The attendees will be responsible for any damage to the Club, premise or any property of the Kooyonga Golf Club. The Kooyonga Golf Club reserves the right to charge accordingly for any damage and is not liable for any loss of or damage to any property left on the premises during or after the visit.
- Members and guests are required to dress in the clubhouse in a manner which will uphold the prestige of the club. The Committee may deny any person not complying with the dress code access to the Club’s facilities.
GOLF BOOKING MODIFICATIONS
- Bookings cannot be modified online. Modifications to tee times can be made by calling the Kooyonga Golf Shop on (08) 8443 6162 or sending a detailed email to golf@kooyongagolf.com.au together with a copy of the original confirmation email. No guarantee can be given for the requested date/time.
- Should the customer wish to cancel, modify or change their booking to an alternative time or date, contact must be made with the Kooyonga Golf Club a minimum of seven (7) days before the date of the reserved tee time and the customer must speak to the Golf Shop Manager, Golf Operations Assistant or delegated staff member on (08) 8443 6162 or email golf@kooyongagolf.com.au. If a modification or change is requested, the Golf Shop Manager will confirm availability of a new tee time date and time if possible.
- Should the customer cancel or not be able to book a different tee time, 10% of the payment will be retained by the Club as a cancellation fee and a ‘credit note’ will be provided for the remaining fee. To redeem the ‘credit’ the customer is required to reschedule the tee times at a mutually agreed time within one year from the original booking date. Credit notes are issued for TEE TIMES ONLY.
- Any booking cancelled within seven (7) days from the date of play, the full payment will be retained by the club as a cancellation fee.
- Should a player of a prepaid group tee time become unable to play, the player can be replaced by a different player however golf reservations must be advised within 48 hours of the tee time. Should 48 hours not be provided, the Kooyonga Golf Club reserves the right to refuse access to the course for this player.
- You must check in at the Kooyonga Golf Shop a minimum of 15 minutes before your tee time is due to start, should you not arrive and register with the Golf Shop team you may risk the cancellation of your tee time and no refund will be given.
- The balance of a credit note must be used in full before the credit note expiry date, partial credits will not be re-issued.
- The Kooyonga Golf Club reserves the right to remove customers from the course if the rules of the Kooyonga Golf Club have not been adhered to. These rules are consistent with the etiquette outlined by the R&A in the rules of golf and are monitored by golf operations team.
- All patrons utilising the Kooyonga Golf Club do so under the instruction of the golf operations team. Failure to adhere to instructions may result in removal from the golf course.
- No refunds will be given in the event that the customer is removed from the course.
- In the event that bookings are made in multiples and a player does not show, no refund will be given for the “no show” player.
FUNCTION BOOKING MODIFICATIONS
- Bookings cannot be modified online. Modifications to tee times can be made by calling the Kooyonga Administration team on (08) 8352 5444 or sending a detailed email to admin@kooyongagolf.com.au together with a copy of the original confirmation email. No guarantee can be given for the request. Please note that bookings are non-refundable however they can be transferred one-to-one to another individual using the original confirmation email.
DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS
- Members and visitors are required to comply with the dress code and dress in the clubhouse in a manner which will uphold the prestige of the club. The Committee may deny any person not complying with the dress code access to any of the Club’s facilities.
