The 17^th is another signature Kooyonga hole where the design of the hole in relation to the landscape is as good as it could possibly be. The drive over a rolling hill requires a good shot to carry the deep bunker positioned into the left side of the fairway, often in to the prevailing breeze. The approach is to a green nestled at the base of a large sand hill, protected by water at the front right and a deep penalizing bunker at the rear. The green slopes back to front and left to right down to the water.  A great opportunity for birdie but it will be 3 good shots.
