Thank you to everyone who attended and sponsored The James Thredgold Jeweller Kooyonga Foundation Golf Day last Friday 18 November. The weather presented a few more challenges than expected for the players but it wasn’t enough to deter the winning group – Tim Thredgold, Tim Simpson, Col Alexander and John Miller!
Thank you to Steve Saunders who was our guest speaker and who provided great insight into the physical conditioning of the Geelong Football Club players that assisted them in winning the 2022 Grand Final. Thank you also to MC Ben Hook who always plays a huge role in the success of this event.
Whilst we are still in the process of finalising the figures, we estimate that we raised near on $60,000 for the Kooyonga Foundation which is a tremendous result that will assist in financially supporting golf development and improved club facilities.
